What are the requirements for a suitable photo for a custom photo puzzle?
Your photo must be a digital photograph, which can include a photo taken with a digital camera, a scanned slide photograph, or your own artwork. The photo must be in JPG/PNG file format, with a file size not less than 500 Kb and not greater than 20 Mb. For optimal results, use only high-quality photos with bright, vibrant colors and a high resolution. Additionally, ensure that your image is in an RGB color profile, as this is the standard for digital prints and ensures the colors will appear as vivid and true to life as possible when printed on the puzzle.
Can you check my photo?
Yes, we can. E-mail your photo to "[email protected]". You will receive a prompt response.
Can I send you a slide photo and you scan it?
No, unfortunately not. We only process digital photos.
Can I use a photo taken with my mobile phone?
Yes and no. As long as the file size of the picture is not less than 500 Kb, it is generally not a problem. However, it’s important to note that resolution plays a key role in the quality of the printed puzzle. While many modern smartphones have high enough resolution for printing, the overall quality of the image depends on factors like sharpness and detail. We do not suggest using photos from older cell phones or those taken in low resolution. Nowadays, most newer smartphones take high-resolution photos that are perfectly suitable for printing, as long as the image is sharp and clear. Always check the resolution before submitting to ensure the final print will look crisp and vibrant.
Can I use a photo downloaded from the Internet?
No, at least in 9 out of 10 cases. The files used on websites are often of low quality and may not meet the resolution requirements for printing. Additionally, when using images from the internet, it is crucial to ensure that you comply with the respective copyright laws. Many online images are protected by copyright and cannot be reproduced without proper permission. If you are considering using an image from the internet, please make sure it is either free for personal use, or that you have obtained the necessary rights to use it. The image used on your puzzle must be for personal use only, and not intended for commercial reproduction or distribution. To avoid copyright infringement, we recommend using your own high-quality photos or images that are explicitly licensed for personal use.
